January 2010

I think that Facebook is killing bloggers. I’m always over there typing and never here.

We have ordered furniture! It will be here February 4th and I cannot wait. The room is dark green, Chives by Olympic in Lowe’s if you are really that interested! We have ugly carpet, but we’re going to re-do the floors one of these days. Anyhow, the furniture is a cinnamon color, which will look great with the walls. We are not afraid of color!

I am now a Vegan. I was really close to being one last year, just needed to cross over. I started a couple of weeks ago. I feel a lot better morally and well, physically. I’m also drinking MonaVie (Mon-A-Vee) each day and taking vitamins.I will probably do a tasting party in March. I have a lot of friends in the area that will benefit from drinking it. I drink 2 oz. in the morning of Active and 2 oz. in the evening of Pulse.

I’ve been going to church each Sunday. This past week I attended a membership class after church. I met a few new people that sit near me, but we’ve never talked.  I will be joining the church next weekend. I’ve been going there since July 2009 and I really like the service. The people are great, very welcoming. I’ve become closer to God and I’ve been doing the New Testament challenge along with a lot of the church. I read a chapter each weekday in the NT. I’ve been reading ahead, love the Book.

I’ve paid off one of my credit cards already!

I’m taking our tax stuff + the business stuff, to an accountant tomorrow. It’s way too complicated for me to do with the house, business and some other things. Anyhow, I don’t mind paying if it’s done right! Less that I have to worry about.

TTFN!

Absolutely. I did finally dropped my paid hosting and move to free WordPress hosting (though I kept my domain name). I just don’t have the time to do it all but I hate to get rid of my domain so…..I keep it and very occasionally post (especially if I need a password protected vent!!)

I have this on my hosting along with all the other domains, including the business. It’s not too bad a year, about $100 for everything. I take that off on my taxes as it’s a business expense.

I will come and visit your blog!

I think Facebook ruined blogging. Sometimes, I want to give up Facebook altogether because I truly love blogging. I don’t get as many visitors to my site… could be my writing, could be Facebook… who knows. But Blogging is what got me online in the beginning, and that’s what I love.

I do think that FB and other things, like Twitter have contributed to blogging’s slow death. Hopefully we’ll keep blogging till we’re old and grey.
